Capacity of a Float in Water Float displacement in pounds:

 Water=0.036127 pounds/cubic inch Multiply volume x water density

 Float working capacity is the total Weight less the float weight.

 Example: float 1 = 99.4 x .036127= 3.6 pounds total, less the raw weight of the float: 3.6 - 1.47= 2.12
  pounds of capacity.

 To have the float sit half way when it is loaded use 1/2 the final weight capacity.

 For other liquids use the density Property times the volume.
